I grew up in Stratford, and today I’m based in nearby Milford. I’m Louis Spetrino, the writer and director of The People We Meet, with more than 400 weddings filmed. I serve couples throughout Fairfield County, including Fairfield, Westport, Norwalk, Stamford, Greenwich and Danbury.

Getting ready in one town, marrying in another and celebrating at a third location? Before agreeing coverage, we review the full route, parking, access and the time needed to set up ceremony audio. Share every address rather than just the reception venue so the schedule reflects the day you are actually planning.
For a Fairfield County celebration with a separate church ceremony or portrait stop, the goal is to protect time for both the essential moments and the quiet ones. Two filmmakers give us complementary perspectives; we agree where each will be during the planning process.

We discuss the interview setting and photograph selection in advance, so this part of the experience has its own time rather than being squeezed into the wedding morning.

I personally guide your planning and edit your film. Directing a romantic feature has deepened my interest in how relationships unfold on screen. At a wedding, the emotion comes from real people; my work is to recognize those moments and give them a meaningful place in your story.
